Cruiser Classic

Saturday Aug 13th, 2011 - Racing starts at 4:35pm

The hilarious Cruiser Classic will consist of 4-person relay teams working together, passing cherry pies on their cruiser bikes, to win the first place. Prize-winners often compete or represent a team with a theme.

If you came to the Cherry-Roubaix last year you will probably remember the Cruiser Classic. It is a funfilled, 4 person costume extravaganza... and oh yeah, a race. The fun begins at 4:35 and 15 teams of 4 people, will line up and race a relay of 4 total laps on cruiser bikes on the crit course. Each bike is required to have a basket, if your bike doesn't have one, we will have baskets at the start for you.

If you haven't signed your team up be sure to do soon. There are only 15 teams available and you won't want to miss out on this fun event.

• Four-person relay teams will compete with each person riding one lap on the crit course.
• Teams should be co-ed and are encouraged to wear costumes or have a theme.
• No cycling clothing or team jerseys, etc.
• Baskets are required and will be available at the start.
• Helmets are a must.
• Sign-up online now - max of 15 teams allowed.

Start and Finish

The start / finish line will be in front of Blue Tractor on Union Street.

Turns Left on Wadsworth Street (south)

Turns Right on Pine Street (south)
Turns Right left on 9th Street (east)
Turns Left on to Union Street (north)
The last lap finishes on Union Street just north of 8th Street
