Road Race

Sunday June 16th, 2013 - Racing starts at 9:00 am

The Cherry-Roubaix Road Race follows a the same course for 2013. The course is a 23.3 mile (lap) course. The start-finish line is high atop Sugar Loaf Mt., Cedar Michigan. 4500 S. Sugar Loaf Mountain Road, MI Cedar, MI 49621

 

Omnium Prize Series

Prize award for the top 3 finishers in each category. Prizes to be announced.

Stage 3 of Omnium

The scoring scheme for the Omnium is as follows, riders will compete for points in each event and must enter all three events. Final placings are determined by total points in all events and all events are scored from 1st through 5th place.
1st place = 7 pts
2nd place = 5 pts
3rd place = 3 pts
4th place = 2 pts
5th place =1 pt

Prizes and awards for the crit and road race are the same per race.

Race Information


Register Early and Save!

Register online at www.cherry-roubaix.com or mail in this registration form postmarked by 06/01/2013. Additional online registration charges may apply. Online Registration closes at midnight on Wed, June 12th.

Day-Of Registration.

Registration opens at 8:00 am on Sat., June 15th. You can register for the criterium up until 1 hour before your race on Sat., June 15th. Road Race registration will be open until 4:30 pm on Sat., June 15th. No “Day-of” Road Race registration. All registration closes at 4:30pm on Sat., June 15th. Additional late registration fees, of $20 per day will apply. No Refunds.

The Women’s cat 3 and Masters 45+ & 55+ road race will be scored separately for point’s series.

Field Maximums

- Juniors and CAT 5 max field limit 50 riders
- Women CAT 4 max field limit 75 riders
- All other fields max field limit is 100 riders

There is no “Day-of” registration for the Road Race or Time Trial.

Friday Packet Pick-Up Only will be from 5:00 -7:30pm Friday at Time Trial start.

Packet Pickup for registered racers only doing the Road Race will be available at Sugar Loaf Mtn, Sunday June 16th. Packet pick up will be open from 7:00am-8:00.

All racers must have a USA Cycling license. Citizen racers can purchase a single day license which will be available at registration. One-day license must race Mens-Cat 5 / Womens-Cat 4, or in a Junior field. If racers are in the Time Trial, Criterium and Road Race, an individual One-Day license must be purchased for each event.

Timing and start of lap countdown for all categories is managed by the Chief Referee.

If the minimum field of 8 is not met, the categories may be changed by the Chief Referee prior to the start of each field.

Entry fee includes a $3 USAC Rider Insurance. Additional online registration charges may apply.
